Self-Sustainable District
Since Langham Place, the biggest commercial, hotel, and office building in Mongkok has consumed most of an electricity and energy, this mass of green lifestyle habitat will be place on top of this mixed used complex to act as a symbiosis mass that provides their own energy and also reduce the use of energy of Langham Place at the same time.
And here is the form transformation of the symbiosis mass that was shaped by the surrounding context.

HONG KONG CONSUMPTION
HONG KONG CONSUMPTION TO SELF SUSTAINABLE INFRASTRUCTURE IN HIGHEST CONSUMPTION AND DENSITY DISTRICT, MONGKOK

LOOKING ON HOW THOSE IMPORTED FOOD BEING DISTRIBUTED TO HONG KONG AREA, INDICATES IN WHOLESALER SPOT

THESE UNNECESSARY PROCESS MIGHT BE REMOVED IF WE PROVIDE OUR OWN INFRASTRUCTURE THAT CAN SERVE HONG KONG'S CITIZEN CONSUMPTION TO THE DESIRED LEVEL
SO WHY DO PEOPLE PREFER MARKET OVER SUPERMARKET EVEN THOUGH THE LATER IS HIGHER IN AMOUNT AS WELL AS ACCESSIBILITY
FROM IMPORTED STATISTIC, TOP 3 IMPORTED PRODUCTS LEAD TO THE DESIGN PROPOSAL
* TO BE AN INDEPENDENT COUNTRY
* INCREASE WORKFORCE FOR HONG KONG PEOPLE
SHIFT WORKER FROM IMPORT & DISTRIBUTION PROCESS INTO THIS NEW SELF SUSTAINABLE SYSTEM
A NEW INFRASTRUCTURE THAT CAN SERVE AS MANY PEOPLE AS THEY WANT
* ECONOMICALLY POWERFUL

In order to serve different dweller need and comfort within
limited spaces of 4 sq.m., the adjustable area was designed, horizontal
layering separated the wet and dry area for multifunctioning purposes as well
as modular adjusted boxes that served both structure and container can be
adjusted in length and angle to create their own functioning space base on
their preferences.
For vertical panel that contains multi functioning box set
for different activities and purposes for specific type of user, by just rotating
only in vertical panel to serve all kind of activities within the limited
space. Using same floor surface just shift of activities in vertical panel, to
reduce the expansion in horizontal based.

Gestures within Spaces and Object Necessity
The diagram shows activities in time slice approach. Every
single hour has been recorded to show how frequently of each room being used,
or each surface being contacted. Analysis deeper on the actual movement of the
body the diagram emphasize by illustrating only necessary parts of the body
that actually involved in specific type of activities.
Overall diagram shows that bedroom is being use all the time
so the furniture is playing an important role as we spend most of the time on
it, so the movement of the chair and the space it occupies is mapped out, as
every square meters is significant.
Surface is another essential parts so material, shape,
position and texture should be considered in further detail, as the map have
shown how frequently it’s being used and how necessary they are.
